The surreal, brilliant white traverteni terraces and warm, limpid pools of Pamukkale hang, like the petrified cascade of a mighty waterfall. From the rim of a steep valley side in Turkey’s picturesque southwest. Truly spectacular in its own right, the geological phenomenon that is Pamukkale. Literally “Cotton Castle” in Turkish, is also the site of the remarkably well-preserved ruins of the Greek-Roman city of Hierapolis.
Ephesus was an ancient port city whose well-preserved ruins are in modern-day Turkey. The city was once considered the most important Greek city and the most important trading center in the Mediterranean region. Throughout history, Ephesus survived multiple attacks and changed hands many times between conquerors. It was also a hotbed of early Christian evangelism and remains an important archaeological site and Christian pilgrimage destination.
Cappadocia region was formed 60 million years ago by erosion of soft layers of lava and ash from Mount Erciyes (Argeus). Human settlement at the Cappadocia region dates back to the Paleolithic era. The lands where the Hittites once lived have been one of the most important centers of Christianity in the later periods. Houses and churches carved into the caves . Rocks turned the region into a huge heaven for Christians escaping from the dominance of the Roman Empire.
Priene, Miletus, Didyma
Priene, at the base of an escarpment of Mycale (modern Mt. Samsun inside the Dilek Peninsula National Park , used to be a major coastal city. Its harbour has since been silted up by the Meander River. It was the earliest town built on a grid plan. Priene was a member of the Ionian League, and is believed to have had 4,000-5,000 inhabitants at its peak.
Miletus , the greatest and the wealthiest of the Greek cities before the Persian invasion of the 6th century BC, was another major harbour city, its sailors having founded a huge number of colonies, especially around the Black Sea.
Didyma was the sanctuary of Miletus, from where visitors approached by following a sacred path of 17 km on foot. Modern Didim, formerly a village named Yenihisar surrounding the ancient site, has been developed as a resort town in the 1980s. It is now centered around the Altınkum (“golden sand”) beach south of the original village and has a vibrant Biritish expat community.
Bergama is a city in Aegan Turkey, known for its interesting archaeological ruins from the ancient Roman city of Pergamon (a World Heritage Site ) and its wonderful center for walking around.

04:30 You will be picked up from your hotel in Istanbul and transferred to airport. 05:00 Arrival airport for flight from Istanbul to Izmir 07:00 Fly From Istanbul to Izmir 07:55 Upon arrival at the Izmir airport you will be picked up at the airport and transferred to Ephesus where you will meet your professional tour guide to begin your tour with a professional guide to begin your full day tour of Ephesus. You will first visit the Temple of Artemis which was once one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. Next, you will visit the world famous ancient Greco- Roman City of Ephesus, the most well preserved example in the world. After visiting this impressive site, you will have a break for lunch. After lunch, you will visit the House of Virgin Mary, where it is believed she spent her last days. This is a holy place for both Christians and Muslims. Afterwards you will visit the Isabey Mosque. After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel in Kusadasi for check-in. Overnight in Kusadasi

After breakfast, around 08:30 am you will be picked up from your hotel for Pergamon. You will visit the Acropolis which was once the cultural center of the Hellenistic Period. It had a very famous library, as big as the one in Alexandria. It also had a famous school of architecture, perfect government buildings and monuments, including the world famous Zeus Altar. It also played an important role during the beginning of Christianity in the Roman Period, and one of the Seven Churches of the Revelations is located here. After the Acropolis you will visit the Ascelepion, which was dedicated to the God of Good Health, “Asklepios”. This was an important medical center where people received medical treatments such as massages, mud baths, drinking of the sacred waters and the use of herbs and ointments. Diagnosis was often by dream analysis. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel. Overnight in Kusadasi

After breakfast, check out from your room and start for full day Pamukkale and Hierapolis tour. Gates, necropolis and theatre of Hierapolis, the calcified pools and waterfalls known as Travertines, swim among ancient ruins. End of the tour, you will be transferred to beautiful resort town Kusadasi, check in hotel. Overnight in Kusadasi.
Enjoy your breakfast & then check-out of your hotel in Kusadasi. You will be picked up from your hotel at around 8:30 am. Today you will visit Miletus, one of the oldest cities of Ionia, and the ancient cities of Priene and Didyma. First, you will see Priene which in its time was one of the most spectacular of all the ancient Ionians cities. Then we will lead our way to Miletus to see Miletus with its magnificent theatre and the Byzantine fortress on the acropolis above. Our last stop will be Didyma. Here you will find the largest Ionic Temple in the world, that of Apollo. Also in Didyma lies the huge, cracked head of Medusa which long ago fell from the freeze. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to the Izmir airport for your flight to Kayseri through Istanbul. Upon your arrival, you will be picked up and transferred for check-in to your hotel in Cappadocia.

You may add an optional Hot Air Balloon Ride over picturesque Cappadocia to your tour at an extra cost of USD 175.00. With an early morning pick up around 5:00 am from your hotel you can join an early morning Hot Air Balloon ride for approximately 60 minutes. If interested, please request at the time of booking your tour with us and we can make all necessary arrangements on your behalf!
Pigeon Valley, Kaymaklı ancient multi-level underground city which is 5 floor and extending to a depth of approximately 40 m. Then head off to the Red Valley, this beautiful valley gets its name from the rose-colored rock. Here we will hike for 2 hours to see the beauty of the valley with several rock-cut underground dwellings and churches from the Byzantine period. End of the tour, you will be transferred to hotel.
Transfer to Kayseri airport. Flight to Izmir then transfer you to Kusadasi.
Overnight in Kusadasi.
After breakfast at the hotel around 09:30 you will be picked up and met by your tour guide to begin your full day tour of South Cappadocia. Your tour guide will brief you on the day’s activities. Your tour will begin with a visit to the Red Valley where you will be able to explore the famous rock-cut churches and hike approximately 5 km through the Güllüdere (Rose) Valley. Next, you will visit Çavusin village which is famous for its houses and churches of the Christian Clergymen. We will take a break for lunch around noon. After lunch, you will drive to the Pigeon Valley. In the afternoon you will visit the Kaymakli underground city where early Christians lived. This will be the end of your full day tour. At the end of the tour around approximately 4:00 pm, you will be transferred to Kayseri or Nevsehir airport for your late evening return flight between 7:00 – 9:00 pm (1-hour flight duration) to Istanbul Ataturk airport. This will be the end of our services.
